The NBA suspended its season due to the Coronavirus. This virus is serious and it’s great to see that major companies and organizations are approaching it cautiously for the well-being of the people around them. It’s times like this where you truly see who’s prepared and who has a lot of catching up to do.
The US healthcare system is one of those entities that are lagging. I’m surprised that there is not a clear system to coordinate and pass proper testing kits to all our citizens during a pandemic. The president along with the major private sector has done a poor job on providing for the American people. At the same time, I do want to give a shoutout to all health care workers and doctors that are risking their lives to get down to the bottom of this and help curb the cases down. Many people are working around the clock to help fix this problem. I also want to give a great shoutout to the South Koreans for being prepared and distributing testing kits and processes to corral this issue quickly. Unfortunately, Donald Trump and company had to wait until the last minute to start issuing suggestions.
I’m not sure if this virus is overblown or even more serious than what we can imagine. There’s so much technology available to us and, amazingly, we can see real-time dashboards like this, but unable to get testing and proper guidance fast enough.
I hope everyone out there is washing their hands and practicing good hygiene. I hope that we can weather this quickly and get back to our normal lives.
It’s unfortunate how much disruption a little cell has done to the world from killing people to causing our economy to sink.
I wish everyone the best of health! This will go down in history as one of the largest impacts in our modern world.
